Funeral services were held Tuesday for Ralph W. Bivin, 67, of R.R. 1, Waverly, who died May 15 in an auto accident.
He is survived by his wife Berneita (Workman); two daughters, Mrs. Colleen (Richard) Carney of Waverly, Mrs. Boni Gail (David) Schoenbocker of Modesto; two sisters, Mrs. Letha Hunson of Hackinsack, Minnesota, Mrs. Ella Swain, Columbus, Indiana; a brother, Ray of Girard; and four grandchildren.
He was born at Palmyra the son of the late Leslie and Cloah Deatherage Bivin.
Mr. Bivin was a member of the Waverly Christian Church, Ansar Shrine, Springfield Consistory and Masonic Lodge of Waverly.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church of Waverly with Rev. Richard Beach officiating.
He was assisted by a nephew of Mr. Bivin's, Rev. Lyle Scott Huson of the Howett Street Christian Church in Peoria.
Burial was in Waverly East cemetery.
