A World War II veteran who entered active duty in 1942 and was assigned to the 8th Air Force as a B-17 and B-24 Bomber mechanic while stationed in England. He also served in Normandy during the D-Day Invasion as an ambulance driver and infantryman. He was then moved on to the battlefield of the Ardennes Forest campaign. He also participated in the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium. He also served in Germany. He was one of the liberators of the Krako Ghetto concentration camp in Poland. He was released from active duty in 1945 with the rank of Corporal. His awards are the WWII Victory Medal,the Europrean-African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
