Violet P. Graham, age 94, of Indiana, formerly of Homer City, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home.
She was born in 1921 in Indiana to Sherdian and Margaret Isenberg Mitchell.
Mrs. Graham was a member of the Barkley Wesleyan Methodist Church, and the Brush Valley Bible Club.
Mrs. Graham was a homemaker and had resided in Buffington Twp. for 65 years. She enjoyed embroidering, and was wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Violet is survived by one daughter and two sons, Connie Zaczyk and husband James, Sagamore; John S. and wife Peggy, Homer City; Timothy H. and wife JoAnn, Homer City; a nephew Edward George and wife Rose Marie, whom she raised, of Homer City; five grandchildren, Stacie Golinsky, Josh Zaczyk, Ben Graham and wife Kayla, Katlyn Graham, and Alida Zaczyk; two great grandchildren, McKinley Colgan, and Ella Pearl Graham, and a great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by one sister Ada Dill, Homer City; and by some special family friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband J. Harold Graham in 1995, a brother Dale Mitchell, sisters Sadie Graham, Zella Mack, and Peg Henry.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Richard Markel officiating. Interment will be made in the Armagh Cemetery.
