Isaac Leap, born July 13, 1834, died at 1:15 Sunday morning at the home of his son at Kewanna, this state, after an illness covering a period of about five weeks. He was the father of four children, all of whom are living, the eldest, W.D. Leap, of Kewanna: John and Albert Leap and Mrs. Alice Todd, of Indianapolis.
Mr. Leap was well known in Boone county, where he spent the greater part of his life. He was a member of the Baptist church for about fifty years and served in the capacity of township trustee and justice of the peace for many years.
