Trenton -- Ottavio "Tom" Agabiti, 66, died Tuesday in St. Francis Medical Center.
Born here, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was president of Agabiti Brothers Inc. Contractors. His late father, Armando, was the founder.
A member of the Holy Name Society of the Immaculate Conception Church, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th, a life member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, a life member of the Italian American Sportsmen's Club, the Anthony P. Carabelli Booster Club, the Trenton PAL, the Fraternal Order of Police, the Fulton Soldiers and Sailors Club, Societa Napoletana Maria S.S. DiCasandrino, Societa Romana Di M.S. San Bernardino Societa and the Union E. Fratellanza Sanfelese.
Son of the late Armando and Catherine Giglio, he is survived by his wife, Irene Coiante; a son, Armando A. II of Mercerville; a sister, Florence Lucidi of Hamilton Township; two grandchildren, Thomas and Michael Agabiti of Mercerville; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Gruerio Funeral Home, 311 Chestnut Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Entombment will be in Garden of Peace Mausoleum.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
