A native of Oak Ridge, Tn, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Mary Hallie Whitson. She was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School. Daryl had lived in Chattanooga for the past 34 years, retired from Chattanooga State and was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and the Naomi Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Christopher; and son, Bradley Wade Christopher. She is survived by her three sons, Eric (Jaime) Christopher, Brent Christopher and Matt (Mandy) Christopher; brother, Dan (Martha) Whitson; three granddaughters; one niece and several nephews.
