Prilla was born in Davilla Texas. To Samuel J. and Lorinda A. Foster. She was a wonderful writer of poetry. The family has a book of all her poems. Most of the poems are based on family members, places she traveled and her memories of her beloved Texas and Arkansas. In 1928, she sailed to Alaska. On her return, she ended this trip in Seattle, Washington. She remained in Washington until 1955, when she moved back to Arkansas. She lived in Dactur, Ar. until her death in 1958.

With #2 Husband(Lee Allen): Tha Le, Samuel Henry, Eileen, Juanita "Joni" Elizabeth Allen.
