Robert Paul McKibbon, known as Paul, was born in Maury County Tenn in 1903. His father was a farmer in the Culleoka / Mooresville area. He met Miss Vivian Mullins in 1930 and they were married on April 11,1931.He worked as a farmer until his growing family required a more stable income. He was hired by Catapillar and the family moved to Peoria, Illinois in 1955 or 56. Vivian also found work outside the home for the first time. Altho Paul never liked living "up north", he and Vivian remained there until he retired in 1968 and they were able to return home.They bought a home in Columbia and he was residing there with Vivian when he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.Vivan continued to live there until her death in 2008. Their son Bobby (R P McKibbon, Jr)graduated from college and became a commercial airline pilot. He died in 2005. Their son Douglas joined the Air Force, leaving the service after 8 years reaching the rank of Staff Sgt. He then went to work with CSX Railroad, retiring in 1998. He died in Nov 2015. Their 3rd son is still living and is my husband. We live in Cornersville, Tn.
