Funeral services for Clifford Sean Barnes, 35, of Ft. Worth, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2008, at the Wills Point Church of Christ with Mr. Alvis Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

He passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008, in a Ft. Worth hospital.

Clifford was born September 7, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Barbara Miller Barnes and Clarence Stone Barnes. While attending high school, he was a lineman for the Wills Point Tigers football team and was a member of the W.P.H.S. Band. During his senior year, he was honored to be an All State Football Player and was awarded the title of Mr. W.P.H.S. Clifford graduated from Wills Point High School in 1992 and also received a football scholarship to attend T.C.U. in Ft. Worth. Clifford was a former coach and teacher at the Wills Point Middle School and was a member of the Wills Point Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by his father and mother; maternal grandmother, Thelma Foster and a sister, Velma LaJoy Smith.

Clifford is survived by his step-mother, Frankie Barnes, of Wills Point; three brothers, Clarence Barnes, Jr., of Dallas, Donel Clark & wife, Ceyita, of Dallas and Curt Clark & wife, Helen, of Lancaster; six sisters, Jeannie Barnes, of Dallas, Lisa Greening, of Ft. Worth, Barbara McNair & husband, Henry, of Ft. Worth, Thelma Bailey & husband, Robert, of Dallas, Warjeania Madden & husband, Emmett, of Mesquite and Brenda Smith & husband, Herschel, of DeSoto and numerous other relatives.
