Margaret E. Nelson, age 89, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2012.
She was the wife of the late Frank Stutzman, Sr. and her second husband, Alan Nelson.
She was the daughter of the late John and Hattie Downes.
Margaret was a very talented and creative woman who had many hobbies. She loved crocheting, reading, traveling, listening to country music, and spending time with her family.
Margaret will be dearly missed by her children, Rovilla Seward (Carl), Tom Stutzman, Jo Ann Stutzman, Peggy Bennett, Frank Stutzman II, and Linda Lyons (Tom)with whom she resided; siblings, Tom Downes, Violet Dalecki, and Bob Downes; son-in-law, Harry Lewis; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Frances Lewis; siblings, Joe, Marion, Vernon, Dot, Anna Doris, Catherine, and Bernard; and her daughter-in-law, Diane Stutzman.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 12 pm at GEBHART FUNERAL HOME, 531 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10 am to 12 pm.
Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery at a later date.
