Mrs. Laurabelle Diller, 83, of 28 Water St., Thurmont, died Saturday, May 22, at Gettysburg Hospital, Gettysburg, Pa., after a short illness.
Born Aug. 19, 1915, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Upton and Annie Dayhoff.
Mrs. Diller was a member of United Church of Christ.
She had been employed with Moore Business Forms, Thurmont, for 26 years. She retired in 1981. She enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Rebecca Pace of Thurmont; one sister, Peg Hahn of Taneytown one brother, Glenn Dayhoff of Thurmont; one granddaughter, JodieCook of Rocky Ridge; two greatgrandchildren, Tabitha Rebecca Cook and Stephen Alexander Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death bythree sisters, Anna Weant, Ev Plank and Dorothy Hawk.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S.Main St., Woodsboro.
