He was born Oct. 2, 1935, in Peoria to Clarence O. and Eleanor (Haley) Call Sr. He married Patricia Ann Williams on June 29, 1953, in Burlington, Iowa. She survives.
Surviving are his children, Kandy (Frank) Poulsen of Gasconade, Mo., Cindy (John) Landis of Peoria Heights, Lynn Payne of Springfield, Mo., Douglas Call of Metamora, Melodey (Mike) Bilyeu of Stockton, Mo., Lucy (Ken) Gresham of Washburn, Matthew (Sherry) Call of Groveland and Jason Call of Springfield, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers, Dale (Phyllis) Call of Edelstein, Harry (Jenny) Call of East Peoria, Rick Call of Bay View Gardens and Randy (Deanna) Call of East Peoria and one sister, Betty (Jim) Shuda of Washington.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Woods.
Clarence was a member of Operating Engineers Local 649 in Peoria and had retired in 1998.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Private family services will be held on Wednesday, with burial in Spring Bay Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emergency 116.
