Mary Lois Bandy

Mary Lois Reed Bandy born July 26, 1924 and raised around the Dallas Texas Area. She died February 11, 2012 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. Born to Floyd and Lily Mae Carroll Reed.

Lilly passed away when Mary was 10, Mary took over raising her Siblings, Leon, William and Pansy until her father remarried. Then the children were sent to separate homes. When they became adults they were very close.

Mary Lois worked at the White Café where she met B.O. Bandy they were married November 30, 1947. He had three daughters and a son from a previous marriage. The daughters Fern, Sue, Shirley and Son Billy (deceased), together they had Bonnie Mae & Edward Lee.

Mary Lois was very active in the Eastern Star. She was a wonderful Mother and housewife We could always count on her having plenty of tea to drink, cookies to eat and lots of Food in the refrigerator. She kept her hands busy crocheting, sewing & quilting. She was a member of the Cedarville Church, accepted Jesus and was baptized, Her faith was strong that she was going to Heaven.

Mary is survived by Dan Savant of Sullivan, Missouri, Sue and Howard Finke of Raymore, Missouri, Bonnie Mae of Jerico Springs, Missouri and Edward Lee and Dixie Bandy of Nevada, Missouri, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren and a large family of Carroll's in Texas. She is preceded in death by both of her parents all of her siblings and her husband B.O. Mary brought a lot of joy to people's lives and will be missed, but she is free with the Lord.

Services will be Saturday February 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Jerico Springs Methodist Church with burial in Zion Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday at 12:00 PM in the church
