Funeral services for Mrs. Mintie May Dick, Elk City will
be conducted from the Martin Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 8, 1974,at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Curtis Newton officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery at Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Dick was born in Texas on September 16, 1884 and passed away in Community Hospital,Elk City on July 6, 1974, after an illness of 10 days. She
was 89 years of age.
She was married to Isaac Lovelace Dick in Oklahoma Territory on March 25, 1904. Mr. Dick preceded her in death on March 9, 1959. Mrs. Dick came to Oklahoma with her parents in 1896 and after her marriage lived in the Hammon area until 1943. In 1943 they moved into Hammon
and lived there until 1958 when they moved to Elk City, and she has made her home there since that time. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church since 1926.
Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Matt (Nettie) Warren of Elk City, Mrs. Virgie Oden, Fresno, California, one son: Lawrence Dick, Elk City, two sisters: Mrs. Rose Allen of Elk City, Mrs. Stella Carder of Yakima, Washington. Also 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents,her husband Isaac, one son, Shelton Dick and one infant daughter Pearl Dick.
