Born at Harman December 19, 1876, she was a daughter of the late Valentine and Rachel (Bible) Cooper.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Denver Van Devender, Columbus, Ohio; Russell VanDevender, Harman; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie V. Cooper, Harman; two brothers, W. P. Cooper, Dry Fork; Frank Cooper, Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Harper, Harman; Mrs. C. B. Raines, Columbus; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be held at the Church of the Brethren tomorrow at 2 p.m., with Rev. Ellsworth Harman, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in the VanDevender Cemetery, near here.
