Marlin K. Blane, 70, Dover, died Monday, February 8, 2010, at Manor House of Dover.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Epperson and Rev. Ronnie Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

A Masonic Service will be held 7:00 pm Thursday at Anglin. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 4, 1939 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Marvin West and Amy Elizabeth Knight Blane.

Mr. Blane was retired from TVA, a U.S. Army Korea Veteran, Iron Mountain Lodge mason, and a baptist.

Survivors include his sons, Marlin L. "Marty" Blane and Scotty Blane, both of Dover; brothers, Henry D. Blane and Max Blane, both of Dover; sisters, Marcene McGee, Murray, KY, Anna Faye Hale, Almo, KY, Margie Nelson, Clarksville, TN and three grandchildren, Prestley Lynn Blane, Bayleigh Elizabeth Blane and Tucker Scott Blane.
