Born March 11, 1905, in Gustavus, Ohio, a son of Angus and Julia (Sackett) Misener. He was an Ashtabula County resident most of his life and a retired truck driver for the Douglass Lumber Company in Jefferson.
He had a great interest in history and geography and also enjoyed walking.
Survivors include one brother, Harry M. of Ashtabula, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Frances; one brother Forest and two sisters, May Chapin and Eva Copeland.
Service is 2 p.m. Friday at the Fleming Funeral Home, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. John Zupanele of the Ashtabula Southern Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours are 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Raymond Misener married Frances Louey December 12, 1948, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Raymond and Leila were twins. Ray died of a house fire at his home on East Cedar St., in Jefferson, Ohio.
Television was in its early years when Raymond bought his first TV, but he got rid of it because it showed something he objected to . . . commercials.
