Funeral services for Lydia Sykora,
80, of Megargel will be held today
(Thursday) at10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's of
the Assumption Catholic Church in
Megargel with Fr. Richard Flores, pas-
tor, officiating. She died July 17, in an
Olney nursing home.
Born August 15, 1909 in Bomarton,
she married Vincent John Sykora in
1945. He preceded her in death in 1958.
She was a homemaker and a Catholic.
She had lived in Megargel for over 60
years.
Survivors include one son, Bill
Sykcora of Arlington; four sisters, Elsie
Densmore, Justine Valek and Evelyn
Zalkovsky, all of Dallas, and Hattie
Havran of Cortez, Colo.; one brother,
Jerome Pavlicek of Olney; and a grand-
son.
Burial will be in Megargel Cemetery
under the direction of Lunn Funeral
Home.
