Mrs. E. E. Deterline, died Tuesday morning at 8:00 at the Aledo Hospital, after suffering a stroke on Saturday. She had been in poor health the past few years.

Mrs. Deterline, the former Miss Sophie Sarah Jenne, was born April 24, 1863, at Grand Rapids, Michigan.
She was the daughter of the late Lansing Kendall and Submit "Ashley" Jenne. On February 12, 1889, She married Elmer E. Deterline at Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was a member of the Prestbyterian Church, The Home Study Club, and the Mary Burns Chapter #24 of The Eastern Star, all of this city. Mr. & Mrs. Deterline celebrated their golden Wedding Anniversary in 1939.

Surviving are the widower, one daughter, Mrs. Helen D. Louck of Keithsburg, five grandchildren, Philip Deterline Louck, who is serving three years in the U.S. Army, stationed at camp McCoy in Sparta, Wisconsin; Mrs Carl (Betty Lucille) Krusmark and Marilyn Frances Louck of Savanah, Ill. and Audrey Jean Louck and Lois Leigh Louck both of Keithsburg. One sister Mrs. Lau Wesson of Eagle Rock, California. two great grandchildren. they had one daughter Marian J. passed away in infancy.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00, Thursday afternoon at Stubinger Funeral Home, with burieal in Greenmound cemetery, Keithsburg, Ill. .
