-- GASTONIA — Edith Bolton Tinsley, 79, of 2221 Glennwood Drive, died July 20, 2007 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Ernest R. and Annie Crump Bolton.

FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Monday, The Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia

INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum of Peace

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home

Edith and her late husband Kenneth, managed a bingo parlor in Gastonia for more than 20 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

SURVIVORS: Son, Richard "Rick" Tinsley and wife Debbie, Clarion, Pa.; daughter, Karen Bailey, Gastonia; six grandchildren, Christine McVicker and husband Chris, Wingham, Ga., Beth Tinsley, Char-lotte and Becky Tinsley, Wilmington, N.C., Bobby, Timmy and Chris Elmore, Gastonia; two great grandchildren, Jasmine and Alliyah McVicker, Wingham, Ga.; brother, Lewis Bolton, Belmont; two sis-ters, Rachel Darnell, Gastonia, Collen McManus, Charlotte; she leaves behind her beloved companion and best friend, Wilfred Jordan. She will be missed by us all.
