Mrs. Goeken was born March 15, 1902, at Galesburg, a daughter of Charles E. and Agnes Jane Seward Selk. She married Harry Goeken July 24, 1920, at Burlington, Iowa. He died July 16, 1981.
She is survived by two sons, H. Harlan, Orlando, and Arthur, Delavan; three daughters, Leta Lorenz, Chicago; Shirley Grimes, Salisbury, N.C.; and Charlotte Evans, Delavan; a sister, Annetta Rademaker, Delavan; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Goeken was a member of the Delavan United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Delavan Ambulance Fund.
