Jeffery E. "Rocky" Barnhardt, 50 of Barringer Ct., Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
Funeral service will be 3:00pm Sunday at Gordon Funeral Home officiated by Rev. David Beaver and Rev. Jeffery Eudy, burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens.
The Barnhardt family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00pm Sunday prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Barnhardt was born December 12, 1961 in Cabarrus County son of Jo Evelyn Eudy Barnhardt and the late Earnest Jr. Barnhardt He was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1980. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, collecting antiques. He loved to work on cars and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He was preceded in death by a brother Steven M. Barnhardt.
In addition to his mother Jo Evelyn Barnhardt he is survived by a daughter, Misty Dawn Barnhardt (Miguel) of Concord, sons, Dustin Barnhardt (Brittany) of Concord and Brandon Barnhardt of Mt. Pleasant, granddaughter, Liliana Barillas and special friend Amanda Treece.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Gordon Funeral Home to assist with Rocky's funeral expenses.
