Our beloved husband, son, daddy and very special paw-paw, he was born Oct. 2, 1959, in Baton Rouge, he died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a retired employee with Gulf States Utilities with 34 years of service. He was 62, a resident and native of Baton Rouge and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. Monday until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael Collins. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Joanne Alello Diamond; mother, Laura Chaney Diamond; father, Ernest C. Diamond; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Jerry Robinson; two sons, Ricky Diamond and Keith Diamond; a sister, Norma Jean Bennett; a brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Bette Diamond; and triplet grandchildren who were paw-paw's "angel babies" and the love of his life, Chandler, Meghan and Taylor Robinson. Pallbearers will be Joe Anselmo, Tony Pecoraro, Ben Gibbens, Eddis St. Pierre, Tim Wilkes and Travis Diamond. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Gerald Militello and staff, Oncology Unit at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and Rabenhorst Funeral Home East.
