William Andrew ELLIOTT was born on 22 Mar 1868 in Monroe County, Ohio. He resided at Sherman County, Kansas in 1909 locating just north of Edson. Later moving to Johnstown, Colorado He resided at Johnstown, Weld, Colorado between 1909 and 1921. He resided at Kirwin, Kansas between 1923 and 1937. He died on 16 May 1937 in Concordia, Kansas.

WILLIAM ANDREW ELLIOTT, son of William and Sarah (Jane Curry) Elliott, was born in Monroe county, Ohio, March 22, 1868, and died in St. Joseph's hospital at Concordia,, Kansas May 16, 1937, at the age of 69 years, 1 month, and 24 days old when he died. He came with his parents to Kansas in the year 1876 and located at Scottsville, Mitchell county, later coming to Rooks county.

In October, 1888 he was united in marriage Sarah Lucinda Coleman. To this union was born six children; Mrs. Cora Parker, Milliken, Colorado, Joseph N. Elliott, Goodland, Kansas, John R. Elliott, Edson, Bert L. Elliott, Edson, Lee R. Elliott, Edson. They moved to Sherman county in 1909, locating just north of Edson; later moving to Johnstown, Colorado where they resided until the death of his wife May 30, 1921.

On March 14, 1923, he was married to Mrs. Ada Belle Hawks. They resided on a farm southwest of Kirwin, Kansas, until the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, his six children, twenty-two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and eleven step-children, also six brothers; John M. Elliott, Phillipsburg, Kansas; Jake Elliott, Syracuse, Kansas; Robert Elliott, Seattle Washington, Goerge Elliott, Kirwin, Kansas; Linn Elliott, Los Angeles, California; and many other relatives and friends.

Services were held at Delmar church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 18. Rev. Fisther officiating. Text was John 14:1-6. songs rendered were; "Does Jesus Care?","Going Down the Valley", "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brokemarkle. Mrs. Russel McFadden and Mrs. Marionn Klontz. Pallbearters; LL. Austin, A. Knowles, Dallas Cotrell, Oliver James, Leslie Powell, Murray Steele.
Interment was made in the Goodland cemetery on Wednesday, May 19, Rev. J.E. Rains, officiating.

He was married to Sarah Lucinda COLEMAN in Oct 1888. lived the first year of their marriage in Rooks County, Kansas. Children were: Cora May ELLIOTT, Joseph Newton ELLIOTT, John Russell ELLIOTT, Bert Ingrhram ELLIOTT, Martin Luther ELLIOTT, Lee Roy ELLIOTT.

He was married to Ada Bell HAWKS on 14 Mar 1923.
