John Clyde (J.C.) Sams, age 75, of Parrottsville, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Takoma Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.G. and Eula Dean Sams; and wife, Charlotte Sams. He is survived by his wife, Betty Sams of Parrottsville; daughter and son-in-law, Kristy and Randy Cutshaw of Parrottsville; granddaughter, Lindsey Cutshaw of Parrottsville; and a host of family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, December 30, 2011 in the Manes Funeral Home West Chapel with Rev. Wiley Woody and Rev. Harvey Evans officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 31, 2011 in the Faubian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday prior to funeral service.
