BANGOR, Sept. 8 - Funeral services for Mrs. Wells (Lydia May) Overton, 70, of Bangor, were conducted this afternoon from the Stafford funeral home here, with Edward W. Thompson of Grand Rapids officiating.
Burial was in Thomas cemetery near Bangor.
Mrs. Overton died Sunday morning in the South Haven hospital.
She was born Oct. 8, 1888, in Bangor, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Nutting. She married Wells Overton April 9, 1937, in Paw Paw and they had lived here all their married life.
Mrs. Overton was a member of the Jolly Friendship club, Bangor.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Earle and Myles, both of Bangor, and Cecil of Grand Junction; two brothers, William Nutting of Bangor and Chester Nutting of Covert, and a sister Mrs. Cornelia Rockwell of Constantine, Mich.
