BELLVILLE -- Tommie Wilbern Rogers, 77, died June 17 at Evans Memorial Hospital.
The Evans County native attended Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church. He retired from Fort Stewart and had served in the 8th Air Force for two and a half years. He worked at Daniel Lumber Co. in Bellville for a number of years.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Eula Lee Rogers of Bellville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Robert West of Metter, Diane and Charlie Parker of Hagan; three sisters, Lorene Benton, Lulene Haire and Lucille Sapp, all of Claxton; three grandchildren, Chris and Jason West of Metter and Paige Parker of Hagan; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: beginning at 6 p.m. today at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home, Claxton.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home, burial in Canoochee Church Cemetery.
