Ethel L. Thomas, 88, passed away September 22 at Camellia Nursing Home. She was a native of Greensboro, Ga., but had resided in Evans County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Thomas Jr.
Surviving are one daughter, Myrtle Elizabeth Eubanks of Augusta; one son, Larry Shelton Eubanks of Augusta; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be September 24, 1:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held September 24, 2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Union Church Cemetery, Bulloch County, Ga.
