Mrs. David Abbott died at midnight Sunday at her home on South 5th street here. She was born Oct. 18, 1880 on a farm east of Oregon, the former Maude Young, and was married in 1898 to David Abbott. She is survived by a son, Shelby, of Chicago and three brothers, Otis and Calvin, of Oregon, and Clifford, of Dubuque, Ia. A son, Everett, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the late residence, the Rev. R.E. Chandler, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
