Bearden, of Attalla, Ala., was married to Miss Fannie Pope, of Dade County, Ga., Dec. 26, at 4 p.m. Mr. Bearden is a prominent railroad man of Attalla, and Miss Pope belongs to one of the oldest and most prominent families of Georgia and Tennessee.
