WATER TAXI ACCIDENT VICTIM:
Lisa died from injuries suffered when the Seaport Taxi pontoon boat she and her mother JoAnn, also killed, were passangers aboard capsized and overturned in Baltimore's Inner Harbor during a powerful wind gust.

She is survived by her father Thomas of Vineland, Cumberland County, NJ. She is also survived by a sister Kathleen (Stephen) Cejkovsky and two neices, Kayla and Emily Cejkovsky of Sewell, Gloucester County, NJ. She also leaves behind her companion, Karl Schrib of Lyndhurst, Passiac County, NJ. Her mother, JoAnn Pierce, predeceased her two days earlier on March 6, 2004.

She most recently resided in Lyndhurst. Her formative and teenage years were spent in Vineland. Lisa was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School (1986) in that city and of Siena College (1990) in Loundenville, NY.

From 1990 to 1996 she was employed by Russell Sage College and Stoney Brook University both in NY and for the last 8 years, of her life, at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, University Heights, Newark, NJ as the assistant director of leadership development and wellness programs. She was a motivational and leadership speaker at many different schools and businesses. Lisa also was director of the College Bowl Program at numerous colleges.

Lisa enjoyed going to New York City to see stage plays, playing card games, traveling and vacationing with her family.

A Funeral Mass for both Lisa and her mother JoAnn was held at the Sacred Heart Church, Vineland, Cumberland County, NJ.
