Mr. A.N. Acrey, nearly 83 years old, died in this city Saturday afternoon about 6:20. The funeral services were held at the city cemetery Sunday afternoon by Rev. A.N. Hall, pastor of the First Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. T.L. Scruggs.
Mr. Acrey is survived by his widow and two sons, O.N. Acrey of Curtin's Pharmacy, and W.R. Acrey, with G.C. Newton & Son. The deceased was a native of Tennessee, but had resided in and near Jacksonville, Texas, for the past forty years, coming here about two years ago.
