Surrounded by her loving family, Donna returned home into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday February 10, 2012.

As a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Donna was born May 18, 1928 to Lawrence Bond and Martha Parkes in Ogden, Utah. Raised in Roy, Utah, she attended Weber High School, and graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Weber State College of Nursing in 1949. That same year, Donna married her eternal sweetheart, Merrill "Doc" Shupe in the Manti Temple. They enjoyed 62 years of devoted companionship.

Donna's focus was her home and family. As a wife and mother, she showed unconditional love, always offered a listening ear and selfless service.
Donna was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, fulfilling many callings throughout her life. Doc and Donna served in the Belgium Mission from 1992 to 1994, serving most recently in the Bountiful, Utah Temple for ten years.

She is survived by her husband, Merrill "Doc" Shupe, six children, Stephen Shupe (Peggie), Sherrie Peterson (Jim), Paul Shupe (Janie), Grant Shupe (Heidi), Cindy Baker (Gary), and Chad Shupe (Marci). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Carson Shupe.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the West Bountiful 8th Ward, 311 North 800 West, West Bountiful, Utah. Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the West Bountiful 8th Ward prior to services. Interment will be at the Centerville City Cemetery.
