John H. Border
John H. Border, in his 80th year, is dead at his residence, No. 7223 Race Street, Homewood. He was born in Bedford County, Pa. He married Miss Elizabeth J. Lane of Fulton County, Pa., in 1860. He has resided in Pittsburgh for the last 15 years. On January 26 he and Mrs. Border celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. Border was a veteran of the Civil War, and belonged to the Eighteenth Pennsylvania Cavalry, Company B. Mr. Border was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. His widow and the following children survive; Miss Burd L. and Oscar D. Border.
