HARRY ALLEN RITES SUNDAY IN PAOLI
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Ellis Chapel for Harry Frank Allen, 66, who died Thursday noon. Rev. Powell Forbes conducted rites; burial was in Ames Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Allen, a retired town employee, died in Harding Nursing Home near Bloomington where he had been a patient less than a week. An Orange County native, he was the son of George and Samarie (sic) Grissom Allen, born October 30, 1898.
Survivors include a son, Noble Eugene Allen of Bloomington, a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Dixon of Hammond, three grandchildren and a brother, Charles Allen.
