MULLINS - Frank Dew Acree, 64, formerly of Danville, Va. but a resident of Mullins for many years, died at his home here yesterday afternoon. He retired from the tobacco business a few years ago because of poor health.
Funeral services will be at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence, the Rev. G. A. Varn, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.
Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Emma Johnston; a daughter, Mrs. James Ford of Redford, Va.; five sons, Dr. Page W. Acree, student at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pendleton Acree of Greenville, Jack Acree of the air corps in Washington, F. D. Acree of the Darlington School for Boys at Rome, Ga., and Campbell Acree with the army in Egypt; a sister, Mrs. J. B. Boatwright of Mullins; and 3 grandchildren.
