Services for Mrs. Josephine Stoops, 82, of 1247 Third St. will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Dahlstrom Funeral home, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Stoops died of a heart ailment Sunday after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Stoops was born in Terre Haute, Indiana. and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a retired supervisor with F.W. Fitch Investment Corp.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald of San Bernardino, Calif., and Wayne of Stratford, Conn.; five grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.
