Seitzland March 17, 1941 James Floyd krout, husband of Margaret Knott Krout, died at 6:30 o'clock this evening of a heart attack, suffered shortly before that time at his home here. He was 41 years old.
Mr. krout suffered what he thought was an attack of indegestion at suppertime, and when home remedies failed to give him any releif, Dr. J. J. Skelly, Glen Rock was called. The doctor upon arrival found him beyond medical aid. Coroner L. U. Zech was called and pronounced death due to coronary thrombosis.
He had been employed as a machinist at the Read Machinery company, York, for the last 22 years and was a member of the Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Co.
Surviving besides his wife are two children, William Benedict Krout and James Leroy Krout, both at home; his oarents Mr. nd mrs. William H. Krout, York; and the following brothers and sisters, Samuel A.; William Edward and Milton Dunnick Krout, Glen Rock; Mrs. Stewart Snyder, Mrs. Charles Bowers, Mrs. William Ferrel, Merle L. Krout and Geraldine Phyllis krout, all of York; and Mrs Ralph Singer, Lutherville Md,
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., at the eiple funeral home, Glen Rock, with interment in Union cemetery, Glen Rock.

Seitzland March 21, 1941. Funeral sertvices for James Floyd Krout, who died suddenly at his home,here, Monday night, were held Thursday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, followed by interment in the Union cemetery, at that place, The Rav. I.W. Moyer, pastor of the Glen Rock-Seven Valleys Evangelical Charge, officiated. The pallbearers were: Samuel A.; William Edward; Milton Dunnick and Merle L. Krout, brothers of the deceased, William Farrell and Charles Bowers, brothers-in-law. Many relatives and friends attended the services.
