Wife of Cyrus Harrison Baldwin. They were married October 3, 1863, Wayne Co, Indiana.

Early pioneer, Emily Jane Baldwin passed away from a stroke in her home in Sinlahekin Valley near Loomis. Born in Webster, Indiana, she was the daughter of William (Quaker Minister) and Harriet Pitts.
She married Cyrus Baldwin October 8, 1863 at Williamsburg, Indiana and they had two children: Clayton DeWitt Baldwin and Harriet Ozella McDaniel.
She leaves a sister, Nancy Ryan of Richmond, Ind. & a brother, Calvin Pitts of Geneva, Ind.
The funeral took place from the Odd Fellows hall. She had been an active member of the Rebekah Lodge for many years. The funeral arrangements were in charge of the Oroville M.E. Church, of which she was a member. (Oroville Weekly Gazette, 30 April 1920)
