Gertrude (Ostwald) Debboli, 79, passed away Sunday (January 29, 2012) at the Alzheimer's Resource Center of CT. She was the wife of Rev. Walter Debboli Sr.

She was born July 9, 1932 in Troy, NY, daughter of the late Frank A. and Katharina (Hart) Ostwald.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Michael Debboli and wife Alda of Plainville, Walter Debboli Jr. and wife Elene of Southington and Anthony Debboli of Murphreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Marisa Debboli, Nicholas Debboli, Michael Debboli Jr. and Olivia Debboli; a brother Lawrence Ostwald; and a sister Bertha Hogan, both of NY. She was predeceased by 11 of her siblings.

A service will be held Tuesday 7 p.m. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Burial will be in Troy, NY at a later date. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5 to 7 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzehiemer's Disease Research Foundation, 1236 Ginger Crescent, Virginia Beach, VA, 23453.
