Elizabeth Reinick was born in Michaelsdorf, Russia, per naturalization papers. Michaelsdorf was a Germans from Russia community near Vladikavkaz in present day North Ossetia, in the North Caucasus region of Russia. She immigrated 18 Nov 1901 on the SS Patricia with her husband Gottleib Schaffer, their kids, and some of her Schaffer & Paul in laws. Also on the boat is George Reinick from Michaelsdorf, possibly her brother. Elizabeth and family were destined for Norfolk NE to stay with her brother-in-law Adam Schaffer.

Elizabeth's husband Gottleib Schaffer died 1921 in a Boulder Colorado Hospital. She married Henry Wells in 1924.

Former Resident of Kersey Found Dead.
Mrs. Elizabeth Wells of 202 St Louis Avenue in Loveland was found dead in her home Thursday morning. She was a former resident of the Kersey area. Survivors include three children, John Schaefer, Adam Schaefer and Mrs. Charles Martindale; 11 step children, Henry Wells of Alberta, Canada. Mrs. Alex Betz of Platteville, Mrs. George Speaker of Briggsdale, Mrs. Fred Michel of Atwood, George Wells of Ault, John Wells of Fleming, Mrs. George Speaker Jr of Briggsdale, Mrs Adam Heinle of Greeley, Carl Wells of Denver, Ed Wells of Nevada and Emil Wells of Proctor. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 pm from Hammonds mortuary in Loveland.
