Ola Melton McGinnis, 76, died Sunday, February 17, 1991, at the Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater, Texas after an extended illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Roby Church of Christ with her nephew. Richard Melton, and Darrell Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Roby Cemetery directed by Weathersee Funeral Home.

Born July 12, 1914 in Roby, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie Melton. She married J. N. McGinnis on September 14, 1935. They lived in Big Spring and San Antonio before returning to Roby where they made their home and raised their three children.
