BEDIAS - Services for Nickles Cleo Abbott III, 20, of College Station are set for 3 p.m. Sunday at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will be at Cross Cemetery. Mr. Abbott died Thursday. He earned a degree in welding from the Job Corps in San Marcos and worked for the Katrina Relief Program. Survivors include his parents, Sissy Hunter of College Station and Nickles Cleo Abbott Jr. of Shiro; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Monica and Dale Sheppard and April LaSalle, all of Iola; a brother, Dale Hunter of College Station; his grandmother, Janie Abbott of Shiro; six nieces; two nephews; and numerous other relatives.
