MULLINS - Claude O. Cole, retired farmer, died Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. B. Carpenter of the Fork community.
Funeral services will be held at Mullins Presbyterian Church at 4 p.m. Sunday by his pastor, Rev. S. W. Newell. Burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery.
Mr. Cole is survived by one son, Claude Erskine Cole of Charleston; four daughters, Mrs. H. D. Singletary of Scranton, Mrs. J. B. Carpenter of Dillon, Mrs. Ralph Fisher of Mullins and Mrs. R. C. Books of Elkhart, Ind.; one brother, Charlie E. Cole of Odom, Ga.; and 13 grandchildren.
