Rising Star – Funeral was to be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Higginbotham Funeral Chapel for William Henry Wheeler, 82, retired farmer who died about noon Monday in Memorial Hospital in Brownwood after a six months' illness.
The Rev. Les White, pastor of First Baptist Church at May, was to officiate with burial to be in Blake Cemetery.
Born June 20, 1883, in May, Mr. Wheeler married Cora Chambers there Dec. 29, 1906.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Luther of May and James of Hart; four sisters, Mrs. W. E. Chambers and Mrs. Etta Brewer, both of May, Mrs. J.. C. Plumber of Brownwood and Mrs. Beulah Smith of Rising Star.
