Glenn E. Meister,62,of Correctionville,Iowa,died unexpectedly,Tuesday,March 2,at a Sioux City hospital.Services will be 10:30a.m.Saturday at Trinity Lutheeran Church,in Moville,with Rev.Michael Kroona of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Rev.Burt Burwell of Salem Lutheraan Church officiating.Burial in Arlington Township Cemetery.Glenn was born Dec.16,1941,in Sioux City,the son of Otto Fredrick & Ruth Louise(Hughes)Meister.He attended and graduated from Moville High School in 1960.He married Connie Holzman,she died in car accident in 1962.Then he married Betty J.Fendrick on July 31,1965,in Thurston,Neb.He had farmed near Correctionville from 1969 to the present.He was baptised,confirmed and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moville.He was currently attending Salem Lutheran Church near his home in rural Correctionville. He enjoyed hunting and his son Greg,traveling,playing cards daily at Pierson Elevator and family members spending weekends and summers at the farm and letting them enjoy all the experiences that the farm could give them. He is survived by his beloved wife,Betty of Correctionville;son Greg;brother,Verle & Connie Meister of Cheyenne,Wyo.;two sisters,Wilma & Frank Bollin of Anthon,IA,;Darlene & Lee Morey of Grundy Center,Ia. He was preceded in death by his frist wife Connie;his parents; grandparents Adam & Minnie (Hopp) Meister, and George & Eva(Martin)Hughes,;brother,Lloyd Meister.
