Mrs. Eugenia Thompson Bernhardt, age 80 of Sandy Springs, GA died Thursday, January 12, 2006 after a long illness. A native of Greer, SC, Mrs. Bernhardt was born July 14, 1925 to Claude E. Thompson, Sr. and Lillian Mason Thompson. She was a member of Sandy Springs First Baptist Church. Mrs. Bernhardt was preceded in death by her husband, Clower Jackson Bernhardt and her son, Robert Alan Bernhardt. She is survived by her sons, Steven J. Bernhardt and John M. Bernhardt; her daughter, Susan B. Holliday and her grandson, Michael Warren Gray.
