Mohan, Sue Ann TROY Sue Ann Hamilton Mohan, 66, of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Friday, February 10, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong Troy resident, Sue Ann was the dear daughter of the late Edward W. and Dorothea G. LeRoy Hamilton. She was a graduate of Troy High School and was employed by the Troy City School District. Sue Ann was formerly a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed animals, gardening, volunteering, and some travel. She especially loved the times spent with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dennis P. Mohan; her two loving children, Kevin (Sherri) Mohan and Kelly Ann (Walter Childs) Mohan; her grandchildren, Maia Mohan and Trevor Wade; her sister, Elaine R. (Michael) Friedman of Lutherville, Md. and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue Ann's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Samaritan Hospital ICU and to the nurses and aides of Eddy Home Care who provided Sue Ann with such compassionate and wonderful care. The funeral will be held from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. and at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. Contributions, in memory of Sue Ann, may be made to either the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 1 Marcus Boulevard, Suite 203, Albany, NY 12205 or to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
