ALFRED NORTHCUTT RITES SET TODAY

COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral for Alfred R. Northcutt, 77, who died Sunday at the Root Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Caddo Matthews, pastor of Plainview Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Sons Funeral Home.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Mr. Northcutt was born in Erath County, June 21, 1891, and came to Mitchell County in 1905.

He was a former employe of Burns Detective
Agency and a retired farmer.

He married Clara Lee White January 10, 1910, in Spade. She died in December, 1954. He married Mrs. Cecil Henderson June 30, 1963.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Bo Brown of Vincent; four sons, Dale of Red Cliff, Kentucky, Charlie of Wink, Luke of Monahans, and J. C. of Colorado City; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Humphrey of Rule and Mrs. Ila Loveless of San Diego, California; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
