Diane Marie Crowdus, 43, passed away on December 12, 2009 in Plano, TX as the result of complications from childbirth. She was aware there might be problems with her pregnancy but was so excited at the thought of having a little girl of her own that the dangers simply didn't matter.

Diane was a very outgoing person and never met a stranger. She was bubbly and always fun to be with - getting a haircut from Diane was always something to look forward to.

The night before her death, Diane was at her church where she was very involved with the Samaritans Purse project. That was Diane . . . always wanting to help where she could.

Her memorial service was standing-room-only . . . she was loved by so many and her death has left a hole in our hearts.

OBITUARY

Diane was born on August 14, 1966 in West Alice, WI to Dean and Ellen Eige.

She is survived by her husband of four years, Robert Crowdus (married November 23, 2005); son, Morgan Alexander Crowdus; step-daughter, Meagan Crowdus; baby girl, Diane Marie "Miracle" Crowdus, who was born on December 12, 2009; mother, Ellen Eige; sisters, Deborah Marlow and husband John Mark, Andrea Mayfield and husband Mike, Karen Hudson and husband Anthony; eight nieces and nephews; and four grand-nephews.

Diane was a graduate of Plano Senior High and worked as a hairdresser in Plano since 1984. She had three different black belts in the martial arts. A big part of Diane's life was her family, friends and her church.

She is dearly missed.
